Welcome… and thank you for choosing Windsor Lodge, located in historic and beautiful Drogheda, County Louth – just north of Dublin on the banks of the River Boyne.

We are Drogheda’s premiere Bed and Breakfast facility, fully certified by Bord Fáilte and the only B&B facility in the area listed in both the prestigious Michelin and Routard’s travel guides. Our lovely home is located on the North Road in Drogheda, just off the M1 Motorway at the “Drogheda North” exit and only 30 minutes north of Dublin airport.

Our location offers easy access to the numerous historic sites in the area, including the Hill of Tara, the Newgrange prehistoric site, Slane Castle, Monasterboice Abbey site and High Cross, the Mellifont Abbey site, St. Laurence’s Gate, Martello Tower and Millmount Museum, the new Visitor Centre at the Battle of the Boyne site, and historic St. Peter’s Church in Drogheda, the memorial and reliquary of St. Oliver Plunkett. Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, a regional health care facility for northeast Ireland, is just a few blocks away – as is the town centre, a short walk from our facility.
